The EPIC Charity – Bristol offers small grants of up to £500 to Bristol’s care-experienced children and young people.
Grants are awarded to help them access leisure opportunities, hobbies or experiences that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to have. To promote care-experienced children and young people having similar experiences to their peers as they grow up.
These funds are not about household essentials, emergency supplies or clothing (these can be accessed through other means).
It’s all about the extra things that so many care-experienced young people may have missed out on like attending events or festivals, learning a new skill (music, sport) and having the right equipment, for example. It could also be about small occasions like visiting the cinema or the ice rink.
