The EPIC Charity - Bristol was established in 2021 by employees of Bristol City Council who between them have lived experiences of the care system as well as passion for developing access to opportunities for children in care and care leavers.
EPIC is a charity giving Bristol’s care-experienced children and young people access to activities and opportunities, as well as inspiring memories. Memories give us all a reference point of the good times, so we can all appreciate the value in this. We know the importance of positive experiences for all young people, especially at a time when there may be lots of changes happening. For those who have been through the care system this is even more important. Having positive experiences can help build resilience for the future and overcome past difficulties.
