Apply for a grant
We are currently closed for applications. We will be reopening applications in early 2027.
Are you interested in applying for a grant from The EPIC Charity – Bristol? You can apply if you:
- Are in or used to be in care in Bristol.
- Aged between 13-25 years old.
- Are or will be eligible for a Personal Advisor from Bristol City Council.
How to apply:
- Complete the online application form. You will need a guardian, social worker or personal advisor to provide a supporting statement.
- When the application window is live, we will let you know when the application window will open.
- Please note we may receive more applications than we can fund. As a result, we may close the application window earlier than planned if we receive a high volume of applications. We therefore encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
- If you would like help with your application, please contact your social worker or personal advisor. If you don’t have a personal advisor anymore, please get in touch using the ‘Contact’ page.
Please note, grants for driving lessons are capped at a maximum of £350 per application.
What happens next:
- The trustees review all grant applications and decide which grants to award. Unfortunately, we often receive more grants than we are able to fund.
- We aim to contact all applicants within 4 weeks of the closing date to let them know whether they have been awarded a grant.
- If you have been successful, we will invite you to a workshop where we will work with you to book your experience or activity.
- We will ask you to provide a short quote on the difference the grant makes to help encourage other people to apply in the future.
